Founder Legatio

Legatio was founded on a singular conviction: that modern commercial velocity requires an institutional-grade legal infrastructure that reflects the seriousness of an organization's ambitions. I operate at the intersection of law, technology, and product. Long before entering the legal field, my mindset was shaped by years of intensive engineering preparation, which instilled in me a foundational appreciation for logic, structure, and operational systems. Having worked with complex legal workflows and high-volume agreements, I realized that the traditional model of contract execution was failing to keep pace with business reality, exposing organizations to unnecessary administrative delays and compounding regulatory risk.

Legatio is meant to serve as the full-stack contractual infrastructure that modern businesses can operate on with absolute confidence. I have chosen the path of building rather than following. I value clarity, long-term thinking, and institutional value over temporary impressions. We work alongside our veteran in-house legal team and technical experts every day, keeping my feet on the ground, listening to our users, and putting in the work required to redefine how organizations approach their documentation.

An Aspiration for Betterment motivated me to create Legatio. As India is evolving with digital space and advanced technologies, most of the part that governs it is still archaic. Hence in the Age where AI integration is set to take place a service flow that still hinges on old system should be replaced with seamless digital experience. This opportunity aided me to create something meaningful and long lasting along with my obsession of combining law and technology to a meeting point that drives the society in correct direction became my motto, that is reflected in LEGATIO. Coming from the law background, I highly believe in the phrase : "To seek and live justice", and here my justice lies in delivering a Paperless Infrastructure to this Shattered India and your Contribution lies in supporting this vision, Join and be part of my journey.

Most law students graduate and join the system. I decided to build one worth joining. I'm Shivam Dubey, Founder of Legatio. Discomfort with "the way things are" has always been my compass and in under a year, it took me from a classroom observation to a fully operational platform redefining how India's small businesses protect themselves. Studying contract law while watching small businesses operate revealed a contradiction I couldn't ignore. Outside the classroom, the businesses that needed legal protection most were surviving on verbal agreements and documents they'd never fully read. Millions of businesses, The backbone of India's economy operating without a single legally sound document to their name.

I didn't see a legal problem. I saw an infrastructure problem. Legality was always available. I just made it accessible.

While most of my peers settled into internships, I was in the field speaking to business owners, mapping the gaps, understanding exactly where the system was failing. The finding was consistent: small businesses were exposed, under-documented, and entirely underserved.

That research became conviction. That conviction became Legatio.
